The Riserva Naturale del Pian di Spagna is located at the entrance to
Valtellina, in the area between Lake Mezzola and Lake Como, and is very close
to several major tourist destinations. The vast wetlands are at the crossroads
between the provinces of Sondrio, Lecco and Como and are of significant
interest. This idyllic conservation area is a nesting place for a number of
migratory birds. It is also the ideal place if you are in search of peace,
tranquillity and stunning natural scenery.
