Open from May to November,
the Giardino Botanico Alpino Rezia covers approximately 14,400 sqm and accounts
for a significant portion of the flora in the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio, in
addition to species endemic to the Apennines and other European and
non-European species, totalling 1,500 plant species.
The garden is divided into four sections:
Flora of the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio;
Phyto-geographic collections of Alpine, European, non-European, Artic and
Antarctic regions;
Systematic collections;
An arboretum.
In summer, tours of the gardens and educational workshops for children are
run.
