Valmalenco offers an important ski are a few kilometres form Sondrio the principal Valtellinese town. There are two skiing localities Chiesa in Valmalenco end Caspoggio, both boast of many years of sporting traditions.Valmalenco is a rarely beautiful environment , crowned with the mountain peaks of the Bernina group the 4000 most oriental of the Alps.. Modern facilities such as the Snow Eagle one of Europe's largest cable cars, which in a few minutes leaves from Chiesa to Alpi Palu where a vast carousel of ski runs open up. Not to forget the abundant proposals for the lovers of cross country skiing, either Alpe Palu and the pleasant Chiareggio plane and Lanzada.
