The festival takes place in Gerola Alta (in the neighbourhood of Morbegno) and it promotes the popular "Bitto" cheese, that is recognised as the king among the cheeses produced in Valtellina dairies. From 16th to 18th September
The festival takes place in Gerola Alta and promotes the popular "Bitto" cheese, that is acknowledged as the king of the Valtellina’s cheese production ( DOP- Denomination of Protected Origin). In this occasion there will be also a series of events in order to lead the visitors to discover the signs and the values of the past country community, strictly connected to the traditional activities that already survive in this zone.
