The "Ponte nel Cielo" is a 234-metre-long pedestrian bridge suspended 140 metres above the valley floor, connecting Campo Tartano (alt. 1,034 m) and the verdant pastures of Frasnino (alt. 1,038 m). It is the highest Tibetan bridge of Europe!
Constructed by the Püstarèsc Consortium, the bridge consists of 700 boards made from Val Tartano larch. Suitable for all ages, including children, it offers visitors and hikers unique panoramic views of the mountains, the lush Tartano valley, Colombera dam, the alpine pastures of Frasnino and lower Valtellina down to Lake Como.
A birdwatching site will be installed in the flat alpine clearing in Frasnino for the viewing of eagles and owls, as well as the capercaillie, which is the symbol of the Parco Regionale delle Orobie Valtellinesi.
The Ponte nel Cielo is open 7 days from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (until sunset on Saturdays).
Price: €5.00 (Valid all day for multiple crossings. Free for children aged 14 and under).

ENTRANCE ON THE WEEKEND
From October 6, every Saturday and Sunday, in order to visit the bridge it is necessary to buy online the ticket.
By making a € 100 donation you can sponsor one of the 700 boards that make up the Ponte nel Cielo. In recognition of your donation, the Consortium will give you free access to the bridge during opening hours for a period of 3 years from the inauguration date, as well as use of the bivouac hut in Frasnino.
In addition, the names of donors will be displayed at the start of the bridge.
