Stelvio, Gavia, Mortirolo and many other Alpine passes are the stars of the many road biking events organized during the Summer' 23.

14 May 2023 - Giro Handbike Italia: a multi-stage race for para-cyclists in Tirano

4 June 2023 – Granfondo Stelvio Santini: international granfondo starting in Bormio with three distances, featuring Stelvio and Mortirolo Passes

25 June 2023 - Granfondo Gavia Mortirolo: international granfondo held in Aprica with three distances, featuring the Gavia and Mortirolo passes

27 June 2023 - Triplo Stelvio: ride all three sides of the Stelvio, beginning in Bormio at sunrise

9 July 2023 - Re Stelvio Mapei: half marathon and bike race from Bormio to the top of the Stelvio Pass

9-18 July 2023 - Eolo Kometa Cycling Team: training camp in Bormio

22 July 2023 - Duomo - Stelvio: bike event starting from the Cathedral in Milan up to the Cima Coppi of the Stelvio Pass;

2 September 2023 - Scalata Cima Coppi: non competitive event scaling all the three sides of the Stelvio

17 September 2023 – Gravel Marathon Valle Spluga: skirting lakes to scaling mountains, this bran new gravel event covers more than 100 km with over 3.500 metres of climbing

First conceived five years ago by ERSAF, who oversee the Stelvio National Park within Lombardy, the concept of Enjoy Stelvio National Park is all about uniting sport and nature. This non-competitive initiative revolves around designated days on the calendar in which the park’s most jaw-dropping and iconic roads are reserved exclusively for non-motorised traffic.  

It turns the region into a playground for not only those who love sport but also those who want to experience the joy and tranquillity of climbing such stunning passes surrounded by unforgettable landscapes. As the initiative has rapidly grown in popularity and added more roads to its portfolio, the original Enjoy concept has evolved into what’s now being called Enjoy Stelvio Valtellina.
