Take a breathtaking trip back in time and experience the history and
beauty of Valtellina’s architecture by visiting the many historical buildings that
stud the region, especially in Mid-Lower Valtellina.

Tirano are Palazzo Omodei (Sernio) and Villa Visconti (Grosio).
In Sondrio,
the provincial capital, magnificent Palazzo Sertoli is renowned
for its stunning Rococo salon, known as the “salone dei balli” or dance hall. In

palazzos – a long wayfar from Venice!
Valchiavenna adds to the wealth
of Valtellina’s historical palazzos with one of the most spectacular
16th-century residences in Lombardy, Palazzo Vertemate Franchi, which nestles in a beautiful
