On Easter morning, the young people wear the traditional costumes and parade while carrying their Pasquali. The Pasquali are floats, prepared during the winter by the young people of Bormio, wherein the religious and handcrafted elements are combined in order to create a real artworks.On Easter Sunday, the Pasquali are carried on the shoulders by the craftsmen in the parade along the streets of Bormio accompanied by the women, the elderly people and the children, all dressed with the typical costume.
by 8.45 a.m. - Meeting of all participants in piazza V Alpini;
10.00 a.m. - Start of the parade around the central streets of Bormio: via Al Forte - via San Vitale - via Roma - piazza Cavour/Kuerc
11.30 a.m. - Blessing of the lambs and of the Pasquali in piazza Cavour/Kuerc
5.00 p.m. - Prize-giving ceremony in Piazza Cavour/Kuerc
The Pasquali will remain exposed until 7.00 p.m. on Monday, 21st April in the Piazza Cavour/Kuerc
