Arrival in Valchiavenna of the 4th stage of the Tour de Suisse
On Wednesday 18 June 2025 the Tour de Suisse will stop in Piuro in Valchiavenna.
The Tour de Suisse, (the Tour of Switzerland) is a stage cycling race, which will take place also beyond the Swiss borders from 12 to 22 June 2025.
The stage will start from Heiden, enter Italy from the Spluga Pass and reach Chiavenna along state road 36 to end in Piuro, in the hamlet of Borgonuovo, in front of the majestic Acquafraggia waterfalls.
The SS37 Maloja will be closed to traffic in Borgonuovo di Piuro, from 7:30 to Noon and from 2:45pm to 7:30pm. The SS36 from Passo dello Spluga to the roundabout of Largo Antonino Pio (Quattro Strade Chiavenna) and Provinciale to Gordona and SS36 from Prata Camportaccio to Piuro, closure expected 90 minutes before the transit.
To better experience the event, everyone is invited to use the free shuttle service, scheduled every 40 minutes, from 9:00 to 22:20 with departures from the Chiavenna Sports Field.
In the areas pertaining to the arrival, the Food & Beverage areas are set up and will be open not only during the day, but all evening to continue the party!
