The traditional Agriculture fest with the return of livestock in the country to celebrate the end of summer spent on the huts of Livigno will take place from 21 to 22 September.
21 SEPTEMBER - LIVIGNO
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM Start of the day: Don’t miss the spectacular parade featuring the Livigno Musical Corps, starting from the Don Bosco Oratory, and the Livigno Folkloric Group, departing from the Santa Maria Church. Both groups will converge in the Isola area, where they will be welcomed by the Musicanti di San Crispino for an exciting parade finale.
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Traditions on display: Livigno’s local farms will parade in the ring under the watchful eyes of the judges. Following this, there will be a greeting to the shepherd and official speeches.
12:00 PM to 3:30 PM Taste and Tradition: Gourmet lunch curated by the Livigno Chefs and Pastry Chefs Association, with a menu inspired by the book "Lèina da Saór." Starter, main course, and dessert for €35 for adults and €15 for children (up to 12 years old).
1:30 PM to 2:30 PM Performance by the Livigno Musical Corps for an afternoon filled with tradition.
2:30 PM to 3:30 PM Enjoy the performance by the Monteneve Choir of Livigno, which will transport us to the most authentic atmospheres of the region.
2:30 PM to 4:30 PM Discover wool processing, butter making, and other traditional agricultural crafts with the Livigno Traditional Costumes Group.
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM Farmer Challenges: Livigno’s local farms will compete in traditional Pezzon and milking contests, followed by the award ceremony.
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM Join us for communal singing, accompanied by the sound of the accordion.
4:30 PM to 7:30 PM Pomeriggio del Famegl: themed games and activities for children aged 3 to 14. A moment of pure fun for the little ones!
5:00 PM to 11:00 PM Street food
9:00 PM to 11:00 PM Simon & Mac live show, blending accordion and electric drums for a unique musical experience. And if you’ve ever danced to "Cotton Eye Joe," get ready because the Rednex, the legendary creators of this iconic hit, will be the special guests at Alpenfest 2024, promising an unforgettable evening!
