With the XXV Winter Olympic Games running from 6 to 22 February 2026, Valtellina will get its first experience as a host site for the Olympic spectacle as both Bormio and Livigno will be in the spotlight, each deciding several events.
Handpicked for the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, Livigno is selected as host for the freestyle and snowboard events (male and female). This high-altitude hotspot will see 26 medals handed out in the official podium celebrations, too.
The Livigno Snowpark in the Mottolino ski area will be the stage for the half pipe, slopestyle, big air, snowboard cross, ski cross and parallel giant slalom. Elsewhere, the Livigno Aerials and Moguls park in Carosello 3000 will determine the world’s greatest mogul and aerial athletes.
