The Olympic Torch Relay

Olympism embodies ideals of friendship, peace, hope and team spirit, while Paralympism act as a catalyst to driving social inclusion and break down phisical and social barriers.

The Olympic Flame has started its journey on November 26th 2025 in order to reach Rome on December 4th and to travel all around the Italian peninsula. 60 city celebrations will take place in all 20 Italian regions. The journey touched 110 Italian Provinces, involving 10.001 torchbearers along 63 days and covered an itinerary of 12.000 km. The Olympic Torch Relay has moved on at the beginning of 2026 to North of Italy and it will arrive in Livigno on January 30th and in Sondrio on January 31st.

The relay, coming from Tirano, is scheduled to depart at 6:40 PM from Trippi. The Olympic flame will enter the city on Via Toti, then continue along Via Sauro and Via Mazzini to the Viale Milano roundabout. It will then continue along Via De Simoni, move through Piazzetta Carbonera toward Via dei Palazzi, and pass in front of the Valtellinese Museum of History and Art. From there, it will arrive in Piazza Campello, then travel along Corso Italia to Piazza Garibaldi. From the stage set up in the square Garibaldi, a large screen will be available to follow the torchbearers' race live. The last torchbearer is scheduled to arrive at 7:30 PM, with the flame lighting the brazier immediately thereafter.

Its journey will end on February 6th entering the San Siro Stadium in Milan for the Opening Ceremony.
