On May 28, 2025, Tirano will host the start of the fourteenth stage of the Giro reserved for pedal-assisted bicycles with arrival in Bormio.
The Giro-E, born in 2019, can undoubtedly be defined as a true ambassador of the Green Economy, of which it espouses its principles and values. In fact, much of what revolves around the event is sustainable, from the vehicles of the caravan, to the solar panels of the commercial village, to the official jerseys produced with recycled fabrics, to the medals, to the gadgets up to the use of "smog-eating" material in the hospitality areas.
But the Giro-E is also competitive, in the 2024 edition 32 teams took part in the race for a total number of over 2000 participants.
The stage of May 28, 2025 starting from Tirano and arriving in Bormio is considered the queen of this edition.
