Sport and fun: Trail Run, non-competitive walking, Short Run and Mini Trail Run
The Alta Valtellina sky race has
become a not-to-be-missed feature of early summer in the magnificent Val Viola, one of most
picturesque valleys in Upper Valtellina.
The 21-km race has an elevation
gain of 710 m and winds through fields,
scree slopes and tracks at the foot of the majestic Cima Piazzi
glacier. Walkways and bridges are set up for crossing streams. Fuelling stations placed at strategic points
along the route offer energy foods and drinks.
SHORT RUN
Open to everyone, with a route of 11 km with an elevation gain of 380 m.
NON-COMPETITIVE WALKING
An easy route of 7 km, with a breakfast in loc. Sattarona
MINI TRAIL RUN
A short route for kids long from 200 m to 1200 m

at 7:30: meeting point in Arnoga
at 9:15: start of the Trail Run Alta Valtellina
