The cross-country skiing season kicks off in Santa Caterina Valfurva
For years now, Santa Caterina Valfurva has been hosting the first Italian cross-country skiing races of the season, usually crucial qualifiers for the FESA Cup and the World Cup.
The race weekend, valid for the Coppa Italia Rode, will open on Friday, November 28th with a skating sprint. Next up, on Saturday, November 29th, is the 10 km skating race with individual start, which will also feature youth categories (junior women over 7.5 km). Another time trial, the 10 km individual classic technique race, will take place on Sunday, November 30th. This time trial will be the same distance for everyone.
