From the cross-country ski track car park in Trivigno,
head right onto the asphalt for roughly 400 metres before turning left onto a
dirt road until you reach an elevation of 1,899 metres on a hairpin turn. An
easy path juts off to the right here, leading you to the grassy plateau that
will lead you up to the summit.
From
the top, make the most of the majestic views that span a full 360° over
Valtellina, Valposchiavo and Val Camonica. On clear days, you may be lucky
enough to spot the Gran Paradiso mountain range and Cervino's distinctive giant
tooth.
Since
2019, hikers have been able to orientate themselves using the compass rose that
indicates the visible peaks with arrows and cardinal directions, which was
donated to celebrate 75 years of the Club Alpino Italiano Tirano.
