This family-friendly hike starts at the Chiesa di
Presedont in Valdidentro. Follow the road that parallels the church on its
right, then head into the trees on path N286, which twists and turns and
doesn’t really settle into a rhythm until you reach a junction. Turn right,
follow the way to Val Lia, past Lia dei Carli and a group of typical mountain
huts.
You’ll
come across Alpe Boron, a collection of five buildings owned and run by Regione
Lombardia that are open throughout summer serving simple, traditional dishes.
