Cross-country skiing in Livigno

Skinny-ski lovers get their fill in Livigno with 30 km of tracks that are immaculately groomed from the very first snowfall until the end of the season. From mellow to technical, this sunny, snow-sure open valley welcomes pros, skiers and novices alike.

Livigno has secured its cross-country skiing credentials by investing in a snowmaking system that ensures a first-rate elite circuit measuring roughly 8km out of its total 30km and by building a dedicated XC skiing centre – the Centro Sci Fondo – in the heart of the resort.

From November onwards, Livigno becomes the training ground of national teams from across the globe, who embrace their return to real snow after a summer spent skiing on glaciers. Out of its prestigious events calendar, La Sgambeda is a must-do mass-participant ski race held annually at the start of December.

It is necessary to buy the ticket on the App MY LIVIGNO or at the Aquagranda, at the tourist offices and at the Ski School Sci Fondo Livigno 2000.
