Now in its 34th edition, the Sondrio Festival 2025 - International Park Documentary Film Festival is a unique international festival dedicated primarily to nature documentaries of high scientific and cinematic quality, filmed in natural parks and protected areas around the world.
The works submitted to the competition are selected from the world's finest productions: the Festival's roll of honor includes directors from around the world and renowned figures in the nature documentary field.
The competing documentaries can be viewed with free admission at the Teatro Sociale in Sondrio, along with a rich program featuring guests and performances exploring the wonder of nature and the world we live in.
The Festival's objectives are to spread the culture of parks, protected areas, and environmental protection, to promote environmental education, and to enhance nature documentary filmmaking.
