The Accademia del Pizzocchero was founded in 2002 with the objective of promoting Teglio pizzoccheri and Valtellina cuisine in general. The association aims to raise awareness of the symbolic dish and safeguard the original recipe, while promoting the local cuisine by way of studies and debates, in order to create interest in Teglio’s culture through the media and food and wine events.
