The Olympic and Paralympic Flame ignites universal values of unit and peace.

Olympism embodies ideals of friendship, peace, hope and team spirit, while Paralympism act as a catalyst to driving social inclusion and break down phisical and social barriers.

The Olympic Torch Relay: in Livigno and Sondrio on January 30th e 31st 2026

The Olympic Flame will start its journey on November 26th 2025 in order to reach Rome on December 4th and to travel all around the Italian peninsula. 

60 city celebrations will take place in all 20 Italian regions.
The journey will touch 110 Italian Provinces, involving 10.001 torchbearers along 63 days and cover an itinerary of 12.000 km.
The Olympic Torch Relay will move on at the beginning of 2026 to North of Italy in order to arrive in Livigno on January 30th and in Sondrio on January 31st.

Its journey will end on February 6th entering the San Siro Stadium in Milan for the Opening Ceremony. 

The Paralympic Torch Relay

The Paralympic Flame will be lit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in England, the spiritual birthplace of the Paralympic Movement. 

It will cover 2.000 kilometers in 11 days,  involving 501 torchbearers; it will be the protagonist of five Flame Festivals from February 24th to March 2nd in Milan, Torino, Bolzano, Trento and Trieste, with the Flame Unification Ceremony taking place on 3 March in Cortina d’Ampezzo. 

On March 6th 2026 the flame will reach the Arena di Verona for the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Winter Games.
