From Buglio in Monte you first pedal uphill on tarmac, then concrete, with constant steep gradients up to 15%. Medium/high pedal assist will be needed often, meaning considerable battery use. On the last bend that to the right leads to Our di Cima take the compact rough track that rise up steeply to the left and leads to the large terrace of Alpe Granda. From here, you can enjoy a 360° view: from Valtellina to Valmasino and Monte Disgrazia. A final short stretch of trail to the right brings you to Rifugio Alpe Granda. Coming back down, you can choose the “fire break path” variant (very stony and with lots of vegetation) that begins from the same last bend in Our and crosses to Prati Erbolo. Here you come to the tarmacked road that takes you down to Ardenno, allowing fitter riders who set off from the plain to complete the circle.
