A vertical route up the “Costiera dei Cech”, from Morbegno to the highest terrace on the Poira plain. The overall average gradient is feasible but it does have a few, more difficult stretches. A tarmacked road takes you up to the village of Santa Croce and then left in front of the church in Via Corlazio. The next right turn towards the village of Fiasco leads to Mello along a concrete road with some very steep climbs. You continue up to Poira di Fuori on tarmac with gradients of 10 to 15%. After crossing this lovely plain eastwards, you reach Poira di Dentro and start back down. A short rough track brings you to Civo. The return to Morbegno is on tarmac, passing through the woods above Santa Croce.
