This circular route links the high villages of Bianzone with those of Teglio and crosses Valle di Boalzo twice. The length and great difference in altitude, together with long stretches with a gradient of around 15% make pedal assist obligatory. The first part of the climb is tarmacked and it then becomes a rough track with parts in concrete and it gradually gets steeper all the way to Nemina Alta. After enjoying wide views over the Valtellina and the Orobic mountain chain the crossing westwards starts, still slightly uphill to the Baite Paroli. The compacted rough track continues uphill and down with a few steep stretches, coming out on the hill just under Prato Valentino. A tarmacked road then takes you down to the left-hand fork in Gema (a bend at 1060 m asl). The following rough track takes you to the Bianzone area above Piazzeda.
