The Skiarea Madesimo Valchiavenna offers around 40 km of downhill ski runs serviced by state-of-the-art lifts with automatic coupling that can be accessed from all corners of the village without using a ski bus. With programmed artificial snow machines, a snow/fun park, internationally approved competition runs and cosy restaurants on the slopes, this ticks all the boxes for an active and unforgettable holiday.

Great for carving turns, those who yearn for high altitudes should go up to the dizzying Pizzo Groppera at 3,000 metres above sea level and weave down the slopes of Val di Lei or choose the Canalone, one of the most thrilling off-piste descents in the Alps.
