Parks and natural reserves in Aprica

In the Parco Regionale delle Orobie Valtellinesi, Aprica has, among other things, two areas of major interest to nature lovers.

The Osservatorio Eco Faunistico Alpino observatory is located within the Parco delle Orobie in Aprica. This pristine Alpine area spans 25 hectares and is crossed by an educational nature trail so that visitors of all ages can observe and learn about a wide range of plant and animal species.

The Riserva Naturale Parziale Botanica di Pian Gembro is located on a glacial peat bog not far from Aprica.
