A wonderful route that is easy to pedal along a beautiful valley with secular mountain chalets or Tee, well-tended meadows and a little church with the typical bulbous bell tower. You enter the valley through green pastures that rise halfway up the mountain with its typical wooden mountain chalets. The initial tarmacked stretch is steep, then it becomes a rough compact track with a regular gradient of less than 10%. After passing the turnoff on the right that leads to Rifugio Cassana, you come to Casera di Federia in the upper part of the valley, a popular destination also with hikers. From here, fitter, more expert riders can continue to the valley bottom, tackling the steep rough track to Carosello 3000, and then returning to Casera along a fast trail.
