As every year, from 20th August to 18th September, the classic appointment with the great basketball goes on stage in Valtellina
This festival gives the opportunity to taste typical products in the characteristic "Crotti". There will be also a great kermess of cultural, folkloristic and sporting events. On Sunday 29th August, from 3rd to 5th and from 10th to 12th September
The festival takes place in Chiuro and celebrates the best wines of Valtellina. Fragments of history, moments of sport, music and choral singing will characterize the event. From 3rd to 12th September
"Valtellina Open" International Chess Festival. In Livigno from 10th to 18th September
Teglio, a village rich in art and culture, will celebrate its popular speciality called "Pizzoccheri", rustic noodles made from buckwheat flour. 11th-12th and 18th-19th September
The festival takes place in Bema (in the neighbourhood of Morbegno)and it honours the Porcini Mushrooms picked up in the shadowy woods of the Orobic mountains with various stalls and exhibitions across the village's alleys. On Sunday 12th September

The "mountain pasture" festival join together culture, traditions and gastronomy to celebrate the mountain workers and to honour their hard work that preserves the area and produces excellent cheese. On 18th-19th September
The happy event Morbegno in Cantina involves about 50 cellars among the most ancient ones in Morbegno and its surroundings, from 1st to 3rd, from 8th to 10th and from 16th to 17th October
"Gustosando" is a special tour between wines and food to the discovery of the typical Valtellina dishes. In Dazio, Caspano, Civo and Morbegno on 2nd-3rd, 9th-10th and 16th-17th October
International Documentary Film Festival on Parks. Sondrio, from 4th to 9th October
The festival takes place in Villa di Tirano in honour of the "brugnola" grape and the "melavì" apple, which are the principal productions around the ancient village, that lies at the foot of the Rhaetian Alps. From 8th to 10th October
