In the fifteenth century, Cassiodoro, Theodoric emperor’s powerful secretary, in his reports wrote down the presence in Bormio of thermal waters, exalting their curative properties. Thanks to the thermal baths situated in natural and relaxing environments, nowadays Valtellina has become the favourite destination for people looking for the right equilibrium between sport and relaxation on a holiday in the mountain.
